Welcome to KnowledgeBoard

KnowledgeBoard editor Neil Davey

Welcome to KnowledgeBoard.com, a self-moderating global community for knowledge management.

This month, with the traditional command and control style of management looking decidedly creaky, Charles Ehin discusses how today’s knowledge age means that leaders must place less emphasis on traditional management in ‘The duality of organisational effectiveness.’ And then, we explore what barriers are hindering the development of the enterprise 2.0 model with the help of the Cranfield School of Management and Oracle, in ‘Enterprise 2.0 hindered by human behaviour and processes’.

Elsewhere, a study by Econsultancy finds that the analytics market continues to boom but is being influenced by the emergence of free tools in ‘Web analytics market grows – as free tools raise the stakes’.

Finally, Peter Hale examines the evolution of end user programming in ‘The history of end user programming’ and John Mitchell discusses the knowledge value in ‘The value of knowledge is zero – it’s what you do with it that matters’.
