Partner with KnowledgeBoard

KnowledgeBoard is always looking to build partnerships with interested KM projects and Events organisers. If you are interested, please contact us as below:

EU project partners

The KnowledgeBoard community has more than 13,000 individual members worldwide, and now we want to offer our platform and services to more European KM projects and existing KM networks. Our aim is to offer more value to a differentiated group of members.

The community is built on contributions from volunteers who are deeply involved in Knowledge Management and related areas. It is made by and for the members. There is no membership fee - and all interested people, organisations, projects and networks are welcome to join. As a first phase of collaboration, European projects can apply for a free banner on KnowledgeBoard, and promote their projects on the site, with a link to their website.

From this point we are always keen to work with pro-active projects about being our "Project of the Month" and guesting at an online workshop at KnowledgeBoard. Polls, surveys and Q&A sessions are also an option. These can be self-serviced or the KB team can help.

Further collaboration includes the generation of Project spaces on KB with related functionality which can be discussed individually. If you want to take an active part in this community and meet a lot of people with whom you share interests contact us now to discuss ways of partnering with the European KM Community.

KM Event Partners

KnowledgeBoard also enjoys partnerships with our Events Partners around the world. If you are responsible for a KM-related event which you think our community will be interested in, and wish to explore further collaboration with us, please contact us. We have a range of event partners' opportunities which can be set up with a minimum of fuss. These range from basic media sponsorship to detailed collaborations tailored to meet our mutual interests. Here is the process and requirements information for our 'Featured events' partners:

  • 1. you need to be a KB member - registration takes four minutes: http://www.knowledgeboard.com/register
  • 2.enter your organisation to the KB organisations directory and apply for event provider status as outline in this article
  • 3. Email the KB editor with your request to be a featured event partner and negotiate
  • 4. send a banner to be included in your events page if desirable (max width: 400 pixels)
  • 5. We make it a featured event; this then lists it on the events homepage and enables us to add graphics to the event page.
  • 6.you can also send an event button (110x60 pixels) to go in the events page right hand column and the html newswire: http://www.knowledgeboard.com/events
  • 7. you send us your event promotion text (four lines at 65 characters per line including spaces) to go into the agreed fortnightly newswires. Please note: the html newswire does not include the lines of text - we find that the buttons do more work in this format - so please send us the button!

KB is also always interested in facilitating workshops or presentations at events, and can assist our events partners with finding 'experts' or 'networks' related to current KM issues.
