New Open University Course: Managing Knowledge

Starting November 2002 the Open University has added a new KM module to their postgraduate courses. Designed for managers who have a role in managing the creation and optimization of knowledge in all kinds of organisations, from multinationals, small and medium-sized businesses, to the public sector and charities. This course can be taken on it's own or as part of the Open University's MBA programme.

Access to this course is restricted to residents of the European Union and certain other areas in which where the Open University has agreed to register students. At present these study areas are:

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

Is it new?

I took OUBS MBA Module Managing Knowledge, which was very good, starting in Nov 2000 and ending in 2001 - what, exactly, is new about this version?
