Jurij M. Plotinskij’s book is an improved and complementing version of the study book edited in 1998.

In this year, the article collection “Social mechanisms” has been published in Great Britain. This collection has been written by the world's most famous sociologists. Some of the most important tasks of this social theory are the description, the classification and the analysis of social mechanisms that clearly explain the direction of the social processes like e.g. communication, collaboration and knowledge sharing. The work of Jurij M. Plotinskij is dedicated exactly to those topics.

In his work, he points out not only not only the current theoretical ideas. Moreover, Plotinskij describes how to deal with problems that appear during the use of problem solving methods.
