Senior Editorial position for a Knowledge Management title. Based in Bristol, you would be responsible for all publishing, commissioning and editorial aspects of this title.

This is a senior editorial position offering control of the editorial strategy for our Knowledge Management title and includes responsibility for all elements of the editorial process from planning through to newswire delivery. The Editor’s role is to ensure that the Knowledge Management Community retains its leading position as the first port of call for knowledge managers in global corporations.

The Editor will rapidly develop a thorough understanding of the business challenges facing C-level executives in knowledge sharing roles and will set up & manage editorial boards to ensure content is at the cutting-edge of thinking. The Editor will represent the title to the industry at large, raising awareness of it among the global business community.

The Editor will be comfortable securing content in a variety of formats (news articles, interviews, case studies, market data and features) initially for electronic publication and seminars. The Editor will also manage the content budget for the title, outsourcing where appropriate to freelance writers. The Editor will be expected to contribute feature articles and conduct interviews whenever possible.

Key skills required:

* An interest in knowledge management issues

* 4 years+ experience as journalist and/or editor

* Previous experience of commissioning for B2B publications

* Experience of writing interviews, profiles and other articles

* Experience of working with editorial or advisory boards
