Invitation to a Seminar:

Enterprise ICT Challenge 2006:
Educating 4 Million UK ICT-Enabled Managers

Wednesday 22 November, 1pm to 7pm

First Floor Lounge, CSA, Building 114, Cranfield University

Introduction & Seminar Aims:

The 2004 e-skills UK and Gartner report identified a need to educate and train 4 million UK managers and leaders in new working environments where ICT is an integral part of business.  Managers need to know how to use systems to manage work and teams, including not expecting staff to carry out tasks the system won’t allow them to, and maybe also to do things faster and in more people friendly ways.

How will the UK Higher Education sector face this training challenge? What is needed? Who will do it?

Join us to engage in discussions where interested players can collaborate to plan and develop opportunities in this area. This seminar is being run under the auspices of an EU funded internationally project (MI-EIS – See www.mi-eis.net for more info) in order to bring together people at the forefront of curriculum development for enterprise systems implementation at Masters level.

There is no charge for this event.
