Top 20 people in Intercultural Knowledge Management

09-Jan-06

Dear all,

Thank you for taking the time to read my question. As a research assistant, I would like to know several things about Intercultural Knowledge Management (IKM):
1. Who are the top 20 people in IKM, that is the top 20 researchers?
2. Where do you think I might be able to find any useful information about IKM? Such as Business Cases or more theoretical information?

Best regards, maxime Ferhani

Top 20 people in Intercultural Knowledge Management

It is a wonderful question ...Who are the Top 20 people in Intercultural Knowledge Management?

If i were to stake a claim to be one among them i would be possibly branded as grandiose and overly optimistic.. !! On the other hand i am reminded of a beautiful scene in the movie Fiddler on the Roof which to my mind sums up Intercultural Knowledge Management. Tevye, the main character is a farmerwho receives into his household a scholar to impart knowledge to his family of wife and daughters. What happens therafter illustrates the modern spirit of intercultural knowledge management. The movie characterises Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence in a classic and unforgetable manner.

I have commenced a weblog http://www.zimmersaleya.blogspot.com/ to propagate my beliefs about Intercultural Knowledge Management. I invite people to add comments to it.

Sincerely
Dr Jayanth G Paraki

Intercultural KM

I suppose firstly you'll need to define what is Intercultural KM. And as to whether there is a Top 20 list, I think it's very subjective. Does it mean that if they have deep insights into the cultural issues of various countries and KM they are considered even if they neverreally 'worked' in those countries before or would you consider people who have implemented KM in various countries a Intercultural KM Consultant?
