Advanced knowledge practices
What are the key knowledge related practices that lead to greater learning, improved awareness, enhanced understanding and more innovation and synergy / collaboration?
Most of the KM world has a short term focus on 'knowledge' sharing (mostly information) and an obsession with measurement that overlooks fundamental characteristics of knowledge and fails to explore KM greatest benefits and sustainable advantage - knowledge creation.
If KM is to make headway, it needs to find a new thrust, move away from past confusion with information issues and head to new landscapes where a focus on knowledge is the driver.

What conversation would you most like to see animating knowledgboard's screens and building this community to become the greatest example of a virtual empowering platform for humanly greater organsiatiosn?
Over the years,The EU has spent millions of Euros evolving this space; and with 5000+ members, it seems its up to all knowledge management experts to show that we can advance our profession communally. If we cant use virtual boards to do that, who can?

This thread supports the pleas made by Kamran May 5 & Jozefa May 7 at the elections thread. If any of the nominees also have a conversation opener on an context of KM they are most passionate about, we will circulate to any link in KB within our reach.
A few notes:
1) we've been asked to define our terms:
I'm playing with the idea that Emotional Intelligence practitioners of KM is really only interested where Knowledge is part of the human being's whole human loop with learning, joy of flow and situated accomplishment -see bookmarks below the line
and where Management gets over just controls and facilitates relevant self-organising as well as transparent networking across boundaries pursuant to repecting every locality that a global marketer's goodwill multiplication can

Transparency communities at valuetrue have started an open source blog offer to anyone interested in sustainability of their community- I wonder whether the takeup on that will be fast enough to input knowflows to the sig eds.
