Implementation

Dear SIG members,

A warm welcome to everyone in the implementation SIG. We will shortly begin editing and publishing relevant articles, but also request everyone to post appropriate papers and get involved in any discussions.

Implementation of KM can mean different things to different people, but we feel it is more likely to affect those who are prepared (budget and resource) wise to start implementing some kind of solution. This could typically encompass business needs, knowledge levers as well as organisation realities.

Technological infrastructure is also important; however it will be in everybody’s interest to avoid any overtly technical discussions about implementation (i.e. software solutions)

Any case studies and articles on areas such as Change Management, Process Change, Technology and Strategic Impact would be greatly appreciated.

We look forward to hearing from everyone in the Implementation SIG, let the discussions begin!

Best Regards,

Stefan Lafloer and Arshad Ahmed
